Make sure your site is ready before going live
Before going live, a few quick steps ensure your template-based project is clean, branded, SEO-ready, and free from leftover demo content.
1. Save as draft unused pages
Keep your published site clean and SEO-friendly. Pages saved as draft will not be published or indexed by search engines.
2. Update SEO essentials
For every page:
- Title Tag
- Meta Description
- Open Graph Image
Demo defaults often contain BYQ branding — replace them with your own.
3. Replace demo assets
Images, videos, icons — everything should reflect your brand.
4. Update CMS content
Remove or update demo posts/projects/team entries.
5. Update navigation and footer links
Internal links, social links, contact info, CTAs.
6. Confirm homepage selection
Set the correct version as your live homepage.
7. Test responsiveness after edits
Templates are responsive, but heavy customization may require adjustments.
8. Test the live site
Interactions, animations, CMS items — always verify live before launch.
